Knit A Square
I am currently researching for my MA project looking into the social history of the craft of knitting and how this skill is passed down through generations in the form of living arts. I am looking for volunteers of all ages to knit a square and provide some information about yourself so I can see who is knitting now. Once completed the squares will be sewn together into a blanket and donated to charity.

- My design journey began with Printed Textiles, exploring surface pattern design. Following from this I developed an interest in the concept of textile sustainability and recycling. I have recently completed my MA study exploring how historic textile processes can benefit our future through sustainable design. I am training to be a teacher in Art and Design to share my knowledge and fulfil the concept of living arts. This blog aims to explore what inspires me and to encourage my development as a practioner.
